What is art but a naked man with a cube on his head taking direction from a man in a cube. I went to Alphonse Berber Gallery for the opening of Josifov, Dildine, Costello where I bumped into the lovely Julia Goodman from ArtSpace404's (Re)Consider exhibit -small world! Highlights included abstract paintings by Joshua Dildine, Ukiyo print-inspired paintings by Dana Costello, and a show-stopping performance (see right) by internationally-renowned Macedonian artist Igor Josifov and San Francisco performance artist Michael Ryan Noble. For any former art student, nudity barely shocks. But moving nudity is another story. Something tells me I'm going to remember the naked man crawling around the gallery.
